Target range

Status
Normal

How it works

Calculate mean arterial pressure (MAP) from systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

Who it's for: Critical care nurses and clinicians monitoring perfusion pressure.

MAP = DBP + (SBP − DBP)/3.

Represents average arterial pressure during one cardiac cycle.

ICU targets often MAP ≥ 65 mmHg for adequate organ perfusion.

How to use

  1. Enter Systolic BP (SBP) and Diastolic BP (DBP) in mmHg.
  2. Read MAP.
